HLTAID009 – Provide CPR
Our CPR course is a 2hr practical course (no pre-study) and includes defib (AED) training as standard.
CPR can be conducted as a stand-alone course and is also part of our Provide First Aid Course.
No prerequisite for this course.
CPR Statements of Attainment can be emailed same day and are renewable annually.
Our CPR course satisfies 1 competency unit from the Health Training Package (HLT07):
HLTAID009: Provide CPR - This unit appears on your CPR Statement of Attainment issued under ABC Licence Training RTO #: 3399
GPs can complete our course and be awarded CPD points for the QA&CPD program

Our Provide First Aid course is flexible delivery and comprises a pre-study component followed by a 6-7 hour in-class practical course.
The pre-study consists of multiple-choice questions which can be done online via an online workbook and on average takes 1 – 2 hours to complete.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Provide First Aid Statements of Attainment can be emailed same day and are renewable every 3 years.

The 1 day Fire Warden course provides participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform the role of a Warden within an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) structure. This course complies with the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 and the Australian Standard (AS) 3745 2010 Planning for emergencies in facilities.
Participants will learn all aspects of emergency preparedness and understand human behaviours during emergencies to assess risk and effectively plan for all types of emergencies in the workplace.
Students will gain the skills and knowledge required to carry out:
• Workplace reporting
• Responding to the emergency including raising the alarm,
• Varied workplace emergency responses.
• Fire principles include fire triangle, classes of fires
• Fire extinguisher training (including fire blankets) including types of extinguishers, maintenance and inspection, practical/simulated scenarios.
• The emergency management plan and the roles/responsibilities and identification of the emergency control organisation
• Facilitate the emergency management plan
• Evacuation coordination
• Post–evacuation activities
• Practical evacuation scenarios
Upon completion of this course, the following unit(s) will be issued by ABC Licence Training Pty LTD – RTO 3399
PUAFER001 Identify, prevent and report potential facility emergency situations
PUAFER004 Respond to facility emergencies
PUAFER005 Operate as part of an emergency control team
PUAFER006 Lead an emergency control organisation
PUAFER008 Confine small emergencies in a facility
This course will also include a practical fire extinguisher session with state of the art equipment to give your staff a realistic feel in responding to small fires.

This course is for anyone who works in any workplace.
The course is designed to equip building occupants with the skills and knowledge to prevent and respond to an emergency situation in their workplace.
This course meets the requirements for general evacuation and first-response evacuation of the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 and the Australian Standard (AS) 3745 2010 Planning for emergencies in facilities.
